Heh. So that is the end result of Kobo's attempt to hang on to Agency in Canada.

Of course, being able to offer discounts doesn't mean they will.

Now, nine months might theoretically be long enough to give consumers a taste of actual competitive pricing and a chance to stock up before the return of price fixing so there might be a nine month spike in sales followed by a collapse that might inspire publishers to reconsider price fixing but I doubt it.
