I like Victoria Holt and Amanda Quick, they mostly write historical novels which I like and most of my favorites are among the one they wrote.
Also, among my favorites is The Broad Highway and The Money Moon by Jeffrey Farnol. Unfortunately I've not been able to get my hands on more books by Jeffrey Farnol except for those I already have.
