When using release firmware on a Kobo ereader, I enable the Freedom to Advanced Font Control patch to allow adjusting the weight on sideloaded fonts for those occasions when I'm not using one of my two favourite fonts where I have already adjusted the weight of the 4 variants to my tastes (plus HP's Dark Courier for those times that only a fixed width font will do ). In some ways a trifle odd that despite my love for typography, I seldom use any fonts other than those two favourites for reading.
