Note that searching at the Harper Collins USA website does not reveal an ebook version of The Crystal Cave. And the cover shown at Amazon.com as the ebook being published by EOS is actually the cover of the Hodder & Stoughton UK ebook (but a different size - 1506KB vs 1250KB)

You have an exaggerated idea of the manpower publishers have to spot this kind of thing.
