If I remember correctly there was someone in this thread having the same problem and I think they solved it with a hard reset and putting the new firmware on once again. But before you try this, please make sure my memory doesn't fail me and search the thread. Or ask David For, he is my hero and seems to know everything about the Kobos. I did have auto-sync on, which I didn't feel would matter since the wifi was off, but I've now turned that off, I don't need it really, since I generally keep wifi off to save battery anyway. I tend to sideload my epubs for the most part.

I got it off the charger and read some last night, so far, so good with the battery, was at 79% this AM. I do like how the auto setting works for the comfort light, so have left that be for now. I'll see how the battery behaves over the next few days.

I can live with having to charge it more frequently than the Aura HD, I just don't want sudden battery drains happening!
