Presumably they are shipping them in from Japan. Seems to be the only place where you can get them new now.

And I see Kobo Japan doesn't sell the Kobo Touch 2.0 or the Aura Edition 2. http://books.rakuten.co.jp/event/e-book/ereaders/ Probably not good enough for the Japanese market, which tells its own tale!

I got mine from a Japanese ebay seller last December. It came bundled with the official sleep cover. Last time I checked, there were still many in stock from different sellers.
