I disagree. Amazon is clearly tightening its walled-garden. It has released a version of K2PC that only downloads KFX if one's device supports that format. As far as I know, and please correct me if I am wrong, eventually Amazon enforces users to use the latest version of K2PC. When that day comes, if you do not own a pre-PW2 device, you will not be able to de-DRM or convert your books.
Question: Is it still possible to use versions of K4PC prior to 1.17?
