Baseball games are a great time to take some books and catch up on some reading.

Oh, and I was a baseball manager.
A student baseball manager.

In the high schools in my area, at least, a student was the "manager." In baseball, I had the serious responsibilities of retrieving foul balls outside of the playing field, making sure all of the equipment got loaded for away games, keeping stats, etc. The coach was called a "coach." I was trying the other day to remember if I did it 2 or 3 seasons (I think that it was 3). I liked it okay, but I knew all of the guys on the team and it was my high school.

In professional baseball, of course, the coach is called the "manager" for some reason.
