After you get your new Kindle (is it a fire?) and begin the process of retiring the old one, one thing you could try is to uninstall and reinstall CC. I can easily uninstall and reinstall the app. I have a dedicated library in Calibre with the books I put on my Kindle to read. I quickly learned that after having to reset my Kindle once and not knowing what books were on the device.

I am getting ready for work and do not have time this morning. But I will do this when I get home around 11 pm central time (-6 GMT). Just tell me if there is a specific way you want me to uninstall the app.
