And if you don't want to open the Tag browser to click on things, you can access Advanced Search by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F (or clicking the icon immediately to the left of the search bar), and then using the middle tab (Title/Author/Series - Alt+E) where you have options for equals, contains string, and contains regular expression.

The book list context menu also has a Similar books->Author option that generates an exact and only match for current author - I use this a lot, short cut is Alt+A.

Calibre has almost as many ways to do a search as there are things to search for
