I am interested very much if page turn buttons work in any version of Cool Reader 3 build made by jotas (not the official one).
Or indeed if Cool Reader by jotas works at all on T63.
There are three such versions for the last build:
cr3.0.57-15-51-1-eink-jotas.apk
cr3.0.57-15-51-1-jotas.apk
cr3.0.57-15-51-1-nook-jotas.apk
The first one is most likely to work, as it is a generic e-ink version.
And it supports T68 and C67 so it is very likely to work OK with T63, I think.
The second one is for Sony PRS T1 & T2, the 3rd one - for Nook.
BTW, Cool Reader (by jotas) has its own page refresh modes, so you may try them if you like.
And it has its own built-in recently read list, so who cares about the home page section.
This list seems to show only the last 100 books, but actually holds more: if you remove some books from the list, others show up (after restarting Cool Reader).
Interesting if next/previous buttons work in the recent read list and in the built-in file manager and in various settings of Cool Reader (such as font list, font sizes, etc) too?
I just hope that there is no problems with T63 wanting to index all the books and choking.
On T1/T2 a hack was implemented to prevent that.
On linux devices a hidden folder for books is enough (name starting with a dot). Perhaps for some android readers it works too. After all, android is really linuxoid.
Unfortunately, the current version is almost 2 years old. Perhaps it is already perfect so no new updates are needed
So it would be great if somebody could test that (or already is using Cool Reader).
But I think a shot in the dark is worth taking anyway.
I also saw here discussions about the brightness levels of T63 compared to T62, etc. The only brightness level I need is completely off. I hope the light can be turned off completely, but it would be nice to get a confirmation, considering that Kindle keeps glowing in the dark no matter what (until you hack or smash it?)
