I wonder what can I do with my Notes and Highlights in pieces on my Kindle device, after leaving that device, and the whole ecosystem.

To make things easy, everything is DRM-free on the device. So, it's just .mobi and their respective .mbp files which are required to do something with them. What are my options? Can I get everything to the Kindle Web when having only the files at hand, but not the device?

Oh, and what if the .mobi files were .azw3 files, would that complicate things more?
