Just another data point, I finished a purchased kepub a few minutes ago. When I checked the site, the rating didn't appear to have been posted. After I did a sync, the counts shown went up one for the rating I gave.

It seems the site now has no indication of what rating I gave a book, and the rating is only sent to the server when I sync the device.

And I should have mentioned, I tried from the Android app earlier. In that case, when I rated the book, the rating count was updated on the site without me doing anything else.
