It shuts down complete without taking care when I close it and it almost always is where I stopped reading. Sometimes when I turned a page just a moment before closing the cover, it will awake at the page before but I think this is software related. IIRC the Aura did the same thing.

It works really like it should.

ETA I never used it in a bag though, so I don't know how good it keeps up when jumbled around.
Have the same cover, different ebay seller. Can confirm the above, since the update it just works.
I do put mine in a bag & have had no problems, has stayed shut. Also KAO fell off a train table New Years Day, cover was open but shut it's self on the way down doing it's job protecting the screen.
