I hate that sort of stuff. Why don't they just put measurements on the website? I see it a lot, where only general indications are given, or measurements are omitted.
"Fits an XX inch laptop" is useless information, because the screen size has nothing to do with the size of the laptop apart from stating its *minimum* size, which would be 34.5cm wide x 19.4cm deep, if we had the 'perfect' laptop with no bezels and a hinge that uses no space.
My Dell Precision is 37.8cm wide x 26.1cm deep, and and 2.7 to 3.3cm thick. This is a workstation type laptop, and as huge as a 15.6 will come. If this one fits, basically every 15.6 inch laptop made in the last 10 years will fit.
If they only made the compartment size to fit a 15.6 inch ultrabook, you'd looking more at sizes like 35-36cm wide, 20-21cm deep, and 1.0 to 1.5cm thick.
