Lawl... I've been carrying a (messenger) bag for... like... uh... 20 years now?

I mostly carry these things:

e-reader (previously: a book)
audio-player (don't like drain my phone for entertainment)
tablet (sometimes, if I expect a REALLY long wait and want internet)
phone
paper notebook
lunch box (to work)
... and whatever else I might need. Sometimes I take my system camera with one lens if I expect something worthwhile to photograph, for example.

No-one ever said anything strange or disparaging about it.

I've become so used to carrying it that I always experience a moment of anxiety when I don't have it with me. The moment I step off of a train or bus, or leave somewhere and I don't have that bag, I always go: "Damn, forgot my bag," before I remember leaving it at home.
