You are over thinking the process.

Follow the directions in the first post, only those directions, they are a complete set of directions.

For instance:
Step #6, just below the link, there is a spoiler, open the spoiler, follow the steps written there.
The 'hotfix' package is built to be used just as described in those directions.


Please learn to use the 'enter' key on your keyboard.
These 'mind dump' posts are difficult to read.
