Toolbar:

6. Switch buttons between page-turn (<>) and audio volume (+-)
7. Screen-refresh options
8. App-specific settings and options (in main launcher, brings up a different menu of settings to that available from the "Settings" icon at the bottom right of the screen)

Buttons:

• Power: (short) Sleep on/off (also close/open magnetic cover does this); (long) full-power-down, power-restore
• Page-turn: (short) page-turn/audio volume control (per above toolbar setting); (long) back-button (left) & home-button (right)
