As promised, I scanned the plates from an excellent paper edition I got at the library. Now the quality in the computer screen is much improved and the contrast and other settings more uniform throughout the series. Uploaded v3.

I have 20% larger scans, but using them in the mobipocket file resulted in a 21MB book, so I reduced them to something closer to 600x800.
