I have the Energy Sistem Pro HD. It is only 212dpi, but with some adjustment of refresh rates, font and font weight using AlReader in e-ink mode it makes a very good reader. With AlReader, the page turns buttons work perfectly.
The InkBook Prime is the replacement for the Obsidian, but it is still only 212dpi. It has a noticeably smaller battery than the Obsidian, but InkBook told me that their new page refresh technology means it has the same battery life (apparently). (InkBooks do not come with Play Store installed - they have their own branded store).
For a 300dpi with buttons, there is the new Kepler, but it is not cheap and, from a couple of reviews I have seen, the page turn buttons are not the easiest to use.
CyBook's new Muse HD is a 300dpi reader with page turn buttons at a very decent price (it is unclear whether it has an English language dictionary).
