Looking for help with Dynamic DNS

Hello guys,

I'm looking for help completing the implementation of DDNS for my home computer. This is primarily to allow me access to my Calibre system when I'm away from home.

I've signed up with No-IP, created a host name, and all of that seems to be working. I can ping the host name and I get back the correct IP address. I set up port forwarding in my DSL router and it *appears* to be correct, but I'm still getting timeouts when I try to access Calibre using the host name -- it works just fine when I access it from a PC on my local LAN using the host address.

So, I'm looking for someone with a bit more knowledge of home networking, and in particular, setting up the right permissions in the network to allow external access.
