Yes, but the point I was trying to make is that the "lid" of the slimfit case on my 3-year-old Aura6" also touches its flush capacitive screen but it still reliably switches the screen on/off exactly as advertised. I could be wrong but I don't remember reading any lengthy threads here about sleepcovers not working with the Aura6". As long as the sleep magnet existed and was in the right position the cover just worked.

My understanding (right or wrong) of what "capacitive touch" meant was that only skin touch (or special stylus) would trigger page turns. So experimenting with page turning comparing my Aura6" and KA1 I observe:
  • using naked finger: both devices turn pages
  • using finger wearing a thin-ish glove: neither turns pages
  • using finger clad in 2 layers (cotton T-shirt + thin polyester sweater): Aura6" doesn't turn pages but KA1 does 90% of the time.
  • using finger clad in cotton T-shirt only: both turn pages
To me that suggests that the KA1 uses a different definition of what "capacitive touch" means than the Aura6". In the above test the KA1 is using the new firmware 4.2.8110 which supposedly contains the fix/improvement although I have no idea what form this fix took, nor whether it is only likely to fix the official case but not the many cheap 3rd-party cases.
