Me too...that is why I was so convinced at first that it must be a pricing glitch.

I have noticed that some of the mystery authors I would expect to be among their most popular (Ellis Peters, Catherine Aird, Anne Perry, Richard/Frances Lockridge come to mind) don't have any free titles. But there are some others I would think would be equally or more popular (Richard Prather, Susan Dunlap, Howard Fast/EV Cunningham, etc.) whose titles are mostly or all free.

And, what is the impact on the authors whose titles have been given away - both short and long term, especially when, as mentioned below, the whole series is free and not just a few?

Not complaining though!
