I talked to my mother who lives on the Gulf Coast where if the low falls to 40, they are cold. Note, most people down there only have light jackets. They were at 38 yesterday with a wind chill of 23. That was in the afternoon.
Just a little something to think about. We may be cold but at least we are somewhat prepared.

Yes, I've clothes for hard winters. The question around here is does one need summer clothes? Not really, though I do have shorts and short sleeve shirts for the occasional days in summer when needed.
