But you probably should update it back to 5.6.1.1 because that update added support for new KFX book format IIRC.

Thanks. I got the jailbreak working. I normally do keep my Kindle in airplane mode because A. I rarely use the wifi and B. it extends the battery life. But I'll take a look at upgrading it to the newer firmware.
