Now if it is determined the Salmonella outbreak was caused by restaurant neglect (for lack of a better word) then the restaurant can be held liable and closed by the health department.

So basically if I go to a breakfast restaurant, eat undercooked eggs and get sick: my bad.
If I go to a restaurant that does not serve undercooked foods and several people that ate there get sick, restaurant bad.
If you all keep on talking, I'm going to have to give up my egg nog (non-alcoholic--I'm a teetotaler) at Christmastime, raw chocolate chip cookie dough, and Caesar salad dressing!
