I tried both ways - first properly through the "Remove Plugin" button, and then by Renaming the OpenWith.zip and restarting. I have since "Removed" it via the interface and reinstalled.

Nothing had any effect.

The "Restart Calibre" dialog box was the first thing I noticed after realising openwith wasn't working. This happened using the "Customise Plugin" button under Preferences>Plugins.

Seems something has killed the plugin??

One day I'll upgrade, but my 10 year old pc running Xp is fantastic. Can't say the same about my wife's 2 year old pc running win 10. Both hardware and software dramas! Doesn't inspire me to upgrade!
