That was what a popup ad said when I just visited
Kobo's website a few minutes ago.
I'm an existing customer, but I don't think that I've visited Kobo since I ran CCCleaner a few days ago, which eliminated cookies, history, browser tabs and about everything else that wasn't nailed down. So, if you're an existing customer, it might not show up for you if Kobo knows from cookies, I.P. address, or whatever, that you already have an account with them. YMMV.
If you are an existing customer, but want to try to bypass the new customer restriction (if, indeed there is one) by clearing cookies, using a different browser, or whatever,
you are the one who will have to make that ethical decision. I am just providing information.
BTW--I looked "all over" for the Kobo coupon thread and couldn't find it. I thought that it was a sticky, and perused all of those. But I also perused about 50 threads in the non-sticky area and still didn't find it (I have the most difficulty using the MobileRead search feature(s) to find stuff on the website, for some reason. I hope that I'm not the only one, or I'm going to feel like a dunce.
