Then you can just ask her to review the events each day. I think she does the next 4 events before asking if you'd like to hear more. I tend to ask her about nightly scheduled events to know when I need to start a certain task.
But I would have to ask for the events each day? Alexa wouldn't just tell me on the days when I had something I wanted to be reminded of?

Say my friend X's birthday is January 30; I want to be able to tell Alexa, "Remind me (e-mail me?) on January 23 that X's birthday is coming up." Can I do that with Google calendar or some other way?
