Ereader recommendation?

I'm looking for a new eReader. I had a Kobo Aura H2O that I really liked, but the screen substrate broke under what I would consider fairly normal use, certainly nothing abusive. So I feel like going another direction.

What I need:

- Decent epub/PDF/DJVU support and connectivity to Calibre (even if it requires alternate software/firmware. I can install that, it's not an issue. I have experience w/ Koreader, and I'm willing to use that again if needed.)
- As durable as a cellphone/tablet. I've treated my cellphone and iPad far more roughly that I did my Kobo, and they don't even have scratches. Baring that, having a nice protective case available that has some sort of screen protection.
- 8" screen size, with a decent screen. The screen quality should be good, but if it's a generation back in quality, it's not a dealbreaker.
- Expandable storage

What would be nice, but is not necessarily a dealbreaker:

- Warranty support in the USA
- Waterproof
- Sub $225 pricetag

I've been leaning toward toward the Pocketbook Inkpad 2, but I'm still interested in exploring other options if they might meet my needs better.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
