$6.48 WS Deal on Very Highly Rated Book Advocating the Use of Nuclear Energy.

If this book goes up in price in the next few hours, I'm going to be perturbed. It's been marked down for I'm sure a week or more. I kept a tab for the book open in my web browser, should I "need" something to post.

I've decided to post it as a Whispersync deal. With the ebook portion marked down to only $1.99 right now, the deal is only $6.48. That's "only" 57% off of the price of the audio alone at Audible, but that is an exceptionally low regular price, if you ask me. Too, don't forget that you get the ebook thrown in with the deal (more and more I see the advantages of having both around, if at all possible).

Well, you can see all of the good things about the Whispersync deal, below. It's got all of the requisite characteristics--low price, high reviews, etc., etc.

FYI--the book was copyrighted, and published, prior to Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in 2011.

Amazon URL (you can get the whole Whispersync deal here): https://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Awaken.../dp/B004GUS68I.
Comments: #1 seller in one Kindle store category.
Book Description (Amazon):
The American public's introduction to nuclear technology was manifested in destruction and death. With Hiroshima and the Cold War still ringing in our ears, our perception of all things nuclear is seen through the lens of weapons development. Nuclear power is full of mind-bending theories, deep secrets, and the misdirection of public consciousness, some deliberate, some accidental. The result of this fixation on bombs and fallout is that the development of a non-polluting, renewable energy source stands frozen in time.

Outlining nuclear energy's discovery and applications throughout history, Mahaffey's brilliant and accessible book is essential to understanding the astounding phenomenon of nuclear power in an age where renewable energy and climate change have become the defining concerns of the twenty-first century.
