I also noticed an improvement in battery life after disabling the "automatically turn off light in bright sunlight" control. I had previously turned off all the other lighting controls, so this was the only change that could have further impacted battery life. Battery life is my one big disappointment with the Aura One. Even with everything turned off, battery life is just ok. I realize it has a smaller battery, bigger screen, higher resolution, yada, yada, blah, blah. I want a longer time between charges, and I would be willing to accept a heavier device to get it. But I'm also willing to accept that I am probably in the minority.
