@Vallora - the calibre configuration can also be relocated by the use of the CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY Environment variable.

To have calibre start in a predefined state I do the following:
  • Specify a starting Virtual Library in Preferences->Behaviour.
  • In the View Manager plugin customisations you can nominate a start up View. A View defines a) which columns and there relative positioning, and b) the sort order (multi-column) of the list.
But I don't know any way to save a start-up 'Layout', encompassing Window size and position, Tag Browser, Book Details, and Cover Browser presence, and Grid/List style.
