Thanks for the picture. The slight smudging I can see on the left of the screen is exactly how the main part of my screen was, with the added elements of white shadows on the right between the LEDs. If it was my first ereader, or an upgrade from a much older device it might have been okay, but it didn't stand a chance against my Voyage. Also for my handbag I think a Paperwhite is a more logical choice, it's much cheaper and more robust, plus with a Walnew case it's only 15gms heavier than my Voyage in its case (also Walnew) so the weight won't be an issue.

I wouldn't have used an Oasis out and about, that would have stayed at home leaving my Voyage as my about town device, but that is a 3G and cost £230. Keeping that at home and replacing it with a wifi PW is a cheaper choice if anything were to happen (now i'm retired I expect to be out much more) and I have my iPhone if I need to tether for a data connection.

That's a cost of £119 (£105 + £14) vs £269.
