Well, it sounds like I need to run through the JB process fully when I have the chance and then load the version just below 5.8.5 (5.8.2.1) as my OS of choice.

Really appreciate the help with this. The info you guys have put together on all of this is invaluable.

UPDATE: Just reinstalled the "Initial Factory" firmware without needing to re-JB. Then was able to move directly to 5.8.2.1 without issue. Now just have to reinstall my tools.

Awesome and easy. Thought I would have to run through the whole process.
