It turned out to be very easy to do and did the trick! Thanks everyone! I'm not sure if I would've thought of that, because I think I was assuming that text was automatically vectorised by the program.

I think it was a setting 'Object to Path' or something like that. No more issues with display, though most apps won't read it aloud now either. (I *do* have title and desc tags in ... some apps that don't like SVG are displaying the text I've entered, so clearly the tags are working.) But that's a simple solve with a half title page.

But otherwise, my book is working in all apps I tested it in with only a few hiccups here and there in particular apps and is also fine on my Kobo reader. I'll check it on the Sony T1 and PRS-350 later, but am not anticipating any issues there.

I'm a very happy camper tonight!
