Hmm. I think I might start reading Anecdotes of Destiny in anticipation of Babette's Feast being the winner. A shortish story at this time of year seems to be a sensible choice!
I must apologise: I had quite forgotten that the short story was in bfisher's selection this year when I nominated this book of short stories in the recent Region month.
