BF was a major bust for a me as well. I got to order the iPad Pro I wanted at Target but my order was cancelled because of a problem with my billing address. I got through to chat to sort it out and the agent attempted to put the order through but he came back and said they were out of stock.
The next day the site was showing them available but I was still having trouble with my address. Got to chat again, but the agent (new one) was still saying it was out of stock even though the site was saying something else. And I had one right there in my cart! Ugh
The whole thing got me dangerously close to pissed-off level, so I felt it wise to abandon the quest.
My iPad 3 still works quite well; I only wanted to replace it because now I can't get iOS 10 on there but that's not the end of the world
