When I purchased my PRS-505 in September 2008, it was at this time still not available in the UK or in France. For most of its life, the PRS-505 was a US (and Canada also I guess?) only device.
The PRS-500 was never available outside of US/Canada either, but despite its age it got a very decent score too, almost to the level of the kindle.

I guess that kindle's owners do not visit Mobileread as much as other device's owners. This is weird as Mobileread is pretty much the more important ebook related website I know along with Teleread

Or that perhaps why Amazon is not releasing their numbers
I suspect most Kindle owners end up on one of the Kindle-only community sites. It is a shame that they miss out on the synergy created here by bringing together owners of so many different device.
