I Bought the kobo Aura One November 4, 2016 and after sucessfully done the update firmware 4.1.7729 two times after manual and automatic reset but still have battery issue.
- with everything off reading a lot but from the range 100% (fully charged) to 95% the drain go faster than under 90%:
2,5% every hour ( that is almost 5% in only 2 hours )
- with everything off (wifi off, sync off and light off, but reading a lot) but under 90%
1,5% per hour (I almost lose more than 10% every 7 hours)
- with only lights on at 5% (wifi off, sync off and light 5%, but reading a lot)
3% battery per hour with lights on at 5%.
- with wifi on, sync on and light 1%
more than 10% per hour
- with kobo aura one powered off completely
surprise: I lose 1% every 3 hour! (is that normal?)
What you suggest me to do?

Looking at your list, most of your results are in what I consider to be the expected range. Kobo rates the battery on the KA1 for 30 days at 30 minutes reading per day or 15 hours of reading. This works out to about 6-7% per hour being normal (100%/15 hours = 6.67%/hour). Your results actually look better than that. One other item is that the battery charge report has never been close to linear on any of Kobo's devices.
For your second to last result losing 10% per hour, what are you doing? Reading books? Reading pocket articles? Continuously syncing? Using the web browser? The last two do use more power than simply reading.
For your last result, I've noticed an occasional drop when turning my KA1 off and back on but not in the range of 1% per 3 hours. What I've seen is approximately 1% whether I leave it off for 1 hour or 24 hours. I suspect the housecleaning before the power off and the restore on power on take more watts than I had expected.
