Now, now, that's a wildly inaccurate perception, usually perpetrated by royalists and New Zealanders. Australia was declared
terra nullius early on its European industry, but we've come a long way since then, 200 years later having been able to declare to the indigenous folk, "Yeah, sorry 'bout that whole pretending you don't exist and trying to make it so genocide-style. Our bad", and it's all better now. So, while most of the Australian population are, indeed, criminals, who would sell their grandmas for dog meat, or their citizenship to become multimedia, multinational megalomaniacs (yeah, I'm looking at you, Murdoch, ya bastiche...wanna fight about it, ya mug?), I would offer that the indigenous of Australia earn a Catholic Blessed Virgin Mary "without sin" presumption, at least those that aren't my brother-out-law and ate the last of the toffee-icecream the other day.
