I took the plunge.. Now the proud owner of an Onyx Boox Max.
Will start to post, time permitting on youtube. As i would have liked to see more on how it handled PDF before I brought. I will post my findings soon.
But so far very very happy. It fits my needs very well. PDF reading/page turning is great using the buttons or stylus.

And readly magazine APP is working ;-) just need to see if i can workout a way to turn pages on that using the buttons.

Early days but very happy so far.

As for connecting via usb to a drive, no need yet for me todo so. Especially if it is going to brick the device! But give me some time to play.
