How did you activate e-ink correction if you can't get to CC's settings?

The Google development library, not CC, controls whether or not the 3-dots is displayed. If it isn't there then the Google library thinks there is a "better" way to get to it, either a hardware button or a general soft button somewhere. There is nothing CC can do about it.
