You can change case in many Metadata fields from many different places.
Field, Tag Browser: Bulk mode Metadata Editor

Right click: Change Case: <make choice>
If it wont change: change to LOWER first, then your choice

AND my most used... Quality Check Plugin: FIX:<choice> after using othe metadata checks to see WHAT might need attention.
