It's good to know there are two ways of optimising the refresh frequency. I may be making a fuss about nothing, but my outlook is tainted by my first experience with ereaders, several years ago (2010 to be precise). I was checking some out at my local store and was horrified by the small screens, clunky navigation and weird black flashing that occurred at each page turn. I'm sure things have improved a lot since then but I think I'd still like some control over the refresh rate. The ideal sounds like me double tapping as and when I like.
