I know that tubemonkey, and perhaps you, work the promotions where you probably don't ever have to pay for an audiobook. I love a sale and getting free stuff of value as much as the next guy, but I'm also one who loves a minimum of hassle in life. What tubemonkey, at least, does is a little bit too much hassle for me. I'd rather pay a little bit here and there and not have to deal with starting new trial accounts, keeping track of where I've set up trial accounts, making sure that I cancel them before the trial periods are over, etc. We're just different.

Makes sense, but just to counter .
I've been joining and cancelling since I found this thread a couple years ago. I follow the link and join, set a calendar alert the day before it ends to cancel, rinse and repeat. Cancelling takes a few seconds. I've spent maybe a total of ten minutes on account management in two years if you add up all the clicks to join/set alert/cancel. I think there was a few days here and there where I didn't have a membership, but you still have access to your library of course.
