I have 3 Paperwhites and a Voyage and several of my neighbors also have Paperwhites which I see a lot since I help them with them. I also have other models. I find as much difference in individual units of the same model as I find between models. That's just how e-ink is.
I also have 3 identical Kobos and their screens are as widely varied as my Kindles.
