Yes, I actually did know that. I know a lot of strange things about Latin and about the Roman Empire (being a history nut), and I can even read some Latin (as long as it is enough like one of the modern Latin-based languages).
The whacko's real name was Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. His father, Germanicus, probably would have made a great emperor ... he was supposedly a very good man. His son?? Not so much.
