I only have Android so I can't be specific, but when you setup your cloud connection at some point you have to point to the folder that has the metadata.db file in it via Dropbox.

Just to be 100% sure go to the web version of Dropbox and verify the metadata.db file is actually in the cloud folder where you think it is located.
