That sounds awful. I'm sorry you went through that. I'm guessing you were in a scooter waiting for them to open the sales? I'm sorry you suffered discrimination. It happened to my mom a few times but not all Walmarts are like that.
Once we were at the checkout when the battery in the shopping scooter died. My mom was so scared because the cashier was freaking out. A young associate went and got a wheelchair and lifted her from the cart to the chair then he wheeled her out to her van and helped her get into it. Turns out he was a medical student. I thanked him over and over.
The cashier was freaking out because she didn't know how to remove the cart and the line was growing. Poor girl. The other cashiers were giggling and giving the girl a hard time. The manager showed up and calmed her down and got two men to carry the cart to the charging station.
I could write a book. Adventures shopping with my mom.
